Ingredients

Cheeseburger Filling
  • 1 lb ground beef (454 g)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Biscuit Dough
  • 1 tube refrigerated biscuit dough, about 8 biscuits
Garlic Butter
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 2 tablespoons finely minced garlic
Topping
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley

Method

Preparation
  1. Heat the oven to 375°F / 190°C. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Cook the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat, breaking it into small pieces as it cooks. Once fully cooked, drain the excess fat.
  3. Add the salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and Worcestershire sauce to the cooked beef. Stir in the shredded cheddar until the cheese melts and the mixture is evenly combined.
Assembly
  1. Flatten each biscuit into a round about 1/4 inch thick. Place about 2 tablespoons of the cheesy beef mixture in the center of each round.
  2. Bring the biscuit dough around the filling and firmly pinch the edges closed. Arrange the filled biscuits seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
Topping
  1. Combine the melted butter and minced garlic, then brush the mixture over the tops of the filled biscuits.
  2. Distribute the grated Parmesan cheese evenly over the garlic-buttered tops.
Baking
  1. Bake at 375°F / 190°C for 12-15 minutes, until the biscuit dough is golden brown and the filling is cooked through.
Serving
  1. Finish the baked cheeseburger bombs with the chopped fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

Seal the biscuit dough firmly around the filling to help prevent the cheesy beef mixture from leaking during baking.
